Hillsborough County: Operators of Small Businesses in Hillsborough May Request Free Non-Contact Thermometer

Hillsborough County's Emergency Policy Group (EPG) enacted an order requiring that face coverings be worn inside businesses open to the public. The order applies to everyone, including customers and employees, inside businesses where social distancing cannot be maintained, with some exceptions.

A full list of exemptions can be found within the order, and a list of frequently asked questions is available on the County website.

To help your businesses enforce the new ordinance, we have prepared a digital business toolkit.

This digital toolkit includes:
  • Printable Tips Posters
  • Printable FAQ's Poster
  • Printable Door Signs
  • Social Media Graphics
Additionally, if your business needs face coverings, you can request up to 250 reusable cloth face coverings free of charge, while limited supplies last. If your customers are in need of face coverings, Hillsborough County will be distributing free face coverings at four locations throughout the County. We encourage you to share this information with your customers digitally and/or post them within your business.
